Why no 5's at Verizon

Is apple not shipping any 5's out to the carriers right now and only doing the apple store reservation process? There is no Verizon store in my area that has them in stock and don't expect any for 2-3 weeks. But I can find them on the apple reservation process or even at some box stores (ie radio shack, best buy, etc.)

P.S. I would do the reservation but it won't let me because I have a business acct.

Give Radio Shack a try, you might get lucky.

Its good to wait with new tech and software. Just be patient. Mine doesn't ship until Oct 19th. I have Verizon also.

Because there are literally millions of people waiting on reservations to get ahold of these phones. They are no different than AT&T or Sprint in terms of demand

Radioshacks here in So Cal had VZW iPhone 5's today.
