Why no Apple Sports Widget?

All I want are scores for teams I follow on my desktop.

Probably the same reason the "coming soon" Music widget for the Mac never arrived... a year later.

That said, can you add it through your widgets from your iPhone?

There's not any Live Activities yet... just today they announced that they're "coming"... Apple is not making it easy to like their Sports scores app.

The iPhone sports score app is so sad, too. I’d like to see the play-by-play stuff that the ESPN app offers. The ESPN app has way too many ads, and I hate the home screen with all the ESPN promos

Still quite happy with Sports Alerts. Widgets. Scores. Play-by-play. Live Activities.

Apple has a long way to go with their Sports app.
