Why no Ibook app in MacApp store?

I was hoping to see this app but to my dismay, nothing there.

I would have to agree. I've been reading more than I have done in years since the launch of the iBook apps and the only disappointment is that I can't carry on reading when i'm sat at the computer. Fingers crossed that Apple will carry the app over into the Mac App Store in the near future.

There is no Books category in the App Store either.
