All iPads Why no swipe to go back on now playing screen?

Just like the title says. Every app including Podcasts on the iPad allow you to swipe from the left side of the screen to go back. But its totally missing from the stock music app. It works on an iPhone, why not an iPad??

Looks like some laziness and someone forgot to turn that functionality on.

Sad.
