why no timer app for ipod, (well music as it is now) still?

maybe I cant find it, but I would think this is a gross ommison, having to again and again use some external, buggy app, for this.

Your looking for something to count down right? for when you are baking something or have a time limit?
Go to the clocks app, look at the bottom, there should be timer and stop watch and some other things that are "time" related.

The builtin clock app does seem to have all the functionality you need. The external app bigstopwatch is an elegant and free: a wonderful design that has stood the test of time. It seems to be entirely bug-free.

Oh you mean a timer to turn off the ipad, like a sleep timer. Try looking in CLocks> Alarms.

If you go to appshopper.com (another of Arn's sites) and search on

music player sleep timer

you will find a bunch of apps that do some sort of function to shut down music after a period of time. Some of them are even free.

I didn't understand what you meant by "iPod".
