Why No White iPhones?

Has Apple or anyone else (who would be in a position to actually know) commented on why the white model of the iPhone 4 is not for sale yet?!

They touted it at the WWDC and everywhere else some I'm a bit confused/pissed that they aren't making it available without supplying some sort of explanation.
 
To make you ask this question...

Seriously, nobody knows. Its not like Apple has put out a press release or any other sort of news. Nobody here knows thats why this is Macrumors.
 
There's a manufacturing problem, possibly due to a lack of screens. Maybe Apple decided to focus on the black one as they seem to be the more popular model?

Maybe Apple is Racist? LOL
 
Maybe it is because they closed the Foxconn factory in China, which was caused by those reporters reporting on how people commit suicide on a regular basis.

Actually, as innocent as it may seem, it really makes this forum inefficient. The more duplicate threads that are made, the more diluted the forums become. The more diluted they become, the more relevant threads get pushed down or missed. ;) It may seem innocent (and the intentions are innocent as well), but it kills productivity and relevant news and information. ;)

will the white iphone 4 discolor or get dirty with use? i'm digging it over the black fingerprint magnet but worried about this.
