Have you held a 17" MBP???

It's light for its size, but I can't imagine having to lug around something supporting a screen larger than that.

The 17" Pro already has the same screen resolution as the 24" iMac. ;)

I'm not sure if a bigger display could be made to work physically. All the weight of the screen needs to be held at an angle in a notebook - once you get into big sizes, that's an awful lot of weight to support.

Yeeeaaaaahhhhhhh

Good luck carrying that thing. You're going to need a suitcase instead of a backpack.

I gotta chuckle at all those pics.. :D:D

The 19" is portable still me thinks. The 21" is more for people who dont want a Mac Pro or Imac but still want to be able to move their machine around the home or studio. And also be easier to move off-site for security reasons etc..

The 19/21" becomes a desktop replacement with a decent enough screen size yet stowable. Think of how space is a premium in places like Japan etc..

The 19" I would expect a full numeric keypad with all the I/O's dual bay drives etc..

Sorry but 13, 15, and 17 are very standard sizes with cases and accessories. And not only is 19 and 21 inch ridicules as they would just be to big to even fit in a backpack, there is no display that size that would be suitable for a portable and certainly not even close to the resolution of the 17inch Macbook Pro.
