everything we have seen is exterior mostly. usually we have internal leaks every year. why not this year?

My guess is Tim put out a memo threatening 40 lashes to anyone caught leaking.

it may be because the only thing people outside of apple have gotten their hands on is the casing.

If this thing truly is launching next month, there are already fully assembled/ready for sale units sitting somewhere.

This is the only cycle for the iPhone where we have gotten this far without seeing at least one or two internal specs. What have we seen so far? The casing and the home button?

It's exciting for me. Means there is a chance the specs could be insane under that not so breathtaking design.

To be more specific, I am surprised there have been no spec leaks. Stuff like camera, ram, processor, etc. I don't get to amped about a sim card tray.

what?! That SIM tray doesn't get your adrenaline going!

We've gotten internal part leaks as previous stated. I think your perspective is skewed due to the number of external leaks (which basically point to the same things).

As for those of you who are surprised there have been no spec leaks, that's a lot easier to control than physical parts that can escape from the factory. It's not like factory workers need to know the specs to assemble parts.

He did say they were going to "double down" on product secrecy in an interview this past spring. :)

someone else said it in another thread....we have zero clue what the internals contain, so that is pretty good to me. Usually we know more this close to release
