Why not port the iPhone predictive input to the Mac?

I don't know about you, but I rarely make any mistakes while typing on a full-sized keyboard.

It would be VERY annoying. I don't want software guessing what I'm trying to type. I could get used to it on an iPhone, but on a computer...no thanks.

Well, why not make this an optional feature for the less digitally dexterous among us? I for one make frequent typos and am not the fastest keyboardist out there, so hitting the space bar to auto-complete/correct would save me a lot of time. BTW, I made 3 typos in the last sentence
