Why slow in browsing in mobile?

Hello Guys! I'm Ellen.. I'm new here.. i wanna ask question.
I'm using iPhone.. the problem is that as i browse in a facebook fanpage this site has flash animation on it... why it takes longer to browse?

The iPhone doesn't display flash animation. The low speed may be due to a poor 3g signal.
