Why still no "flip" photo in edit?

Why does the Edit mode in photos/ cam app still have no flip tool? You can only rotate it around but not flip.

Such an easy yet powerful little option still not in iOS7.

Flipping a picture doesn't compliment the original shot it changes it completely. It is more of a photoshop type tool rather than a basic photo editing feature. As far as rotating goes that's too correct the orientation of the photograph if you were holding the phone incorrectly when you took the shot.

Flipping becomes needed if you use the Front Camera...since it flips the image it takes of you by default, unlike apps like Photoshop Express which don't flip your picture when taken with the front

When showing the image it, it flips it so that it acts like a mirror. Once you take the picture, it undoes the flip. This is with the stock camera.
