Why the delay?

I can not understand the delay for Apple to release a new iMac 2012?

1 Is it because they do not care about iMac:s? ????

2 Is it because of new hardware? I do not think so because there is no revolutionary hardware coming this year.

3 Do they have some kind of hardware problems? ????

4 Waiting for Mountain Lion release? Strange decision in my opinion.

5 Redesigning the iMac? If they do it, they should make it more upgradable than the current model.

Who knows and honestly who cares "why." A lot of people are unhappy about the delay no matter what the reasoning is behind it.

What delay?

I've checked all of Apples sites, all of their press releases and in no place can I find any mention of an official release date for the Apple iMac.

If Apple has not published a release date, then they cannot be said to be delaying anything.

Looks like any delay is in the minds of those who are waiting!

I would say if it comes next week with ML then that's the reason for the delay, otherwise we might be waiting another couple of months... or about 20 more threads on this topic

Some people are starting to get bitter about this subject haha. I don't blame them though. If my job depended on the next iMac I would be bitter as well.

My theory is they're fine tuning the new retina iMac and it will be released at a premium price along side spec bumped iMacs at some point in 2012. Just my theory so it means exactly nothing.
