Ughh this is very annoying - whenever typing "so" as in so and so did this.....it changes it to ^so

Can I stop this from happening?? aside from turning off spellcheck?

Yeah figured that doesn't seem to work though, I've corrected it countless times already.

for some reason i can't get the phone to leave **** as is - it also corrects it to shut, shot..and it takes about 3x before it finally stops autocorrecting, but when i try to text again, it reverts back to shut and shot, and another 3x before it stops...

boo...let me say **** dammit!

Did you use the "x" to correct the dictionary? If that fails you can reset it in Settings.

Your specific situation aside, this is an area that Apple could improve on. Hopefully they will make it better with the next gen model.
