Why does apple sell the remote seperatly to the dock, The should sell it as a pair, unless they are planning to sell frontrow!!! to us non iMac users.

One could only wish

Don't count on it, unless they include it with the next version of iLife or something. For now, selling the dock and remote separately is just a convenient way to make each seem less expensive. There's enough sticker shock selling the dock for $39, and not everyone who buys one necessarily wants the remote.

Or just use it with the Universal dock? Uh, yeah.. just like they say. "You can use the remote control with the Universal Dock..."
