One other thing the 5S offers that the new iPads do not: a gold option. My understanding is that they tried it, and it just didn’t look good bigger. It works on the iPhone because the iPhone is so much smaller — more like jewelry.

This is actually what I suspected. I never thought a gold iPad, especially the larger size iPad would look good. Gold is OK in smaller sizes, IMO.

Then why'd they release iOS 7 and those connect 4 cases for the iPhone 5c?
 
I (guess) it makes sense but not so much to me I think they wanna make the iPhone even that much more sought after being the one and ONLY idevice out there because personally I wouldn't mind the biggest dumbest brick of gold ever.
 
I'm surprised there was such demand for the golden iPhone.. personally I find it ridiculous

Mont people I know we're almost outraged. Really? It's just a color. I like it, and I think in six months the whining will died down. ;) People also said the iPad name was ridiculous as well.
 
Those that post that a color is ridiculous are not mature enough yet to understand that their dribble is immature. Why they even posts these silly hate remarks is beyond me. Perhaps when they finally grow up, and re-read these old posts of theirs, they will come to understand its was silly. :confused:

Why are people on here so sensitive about the gold iPhone? Anytime someone says it looks like **** or that it is "ridiculous", people get defensive. They're not criticizing the PEOPLE who buy the phone, they're criticizing the color. Some people think the gold iPhone is ugly, others think the white or black iPhone is ugly. Nothing new.

Hilarious. I think they didn't make the gold iPad for some other reason. I find it hard to believe they didn't think it looked good enough.

Ah. Probably not the real reason. I find it hard to believe anything anyone says if it isn't Apple saying it themselves.
