You can pre-order iPad mini 26-oct, you can buy it on 2nd November but if you click on the new iMac the only thing you'll reach to know is that "It'll come soon" but it's impossible to know if it's early november or late november...
By the other side, discounts on University and schools centers have dissapeared.
I've the impression that Apple is selling smoke. They have focused too much on iToys and they have forgotten iMac issue and because of the media and consumers pres they had to present something like a prototype.
