I have been noticing, when I empty the trash and restart right away upon restart the trash is full. This happens on more then one of my macs any idea?

thanks chris

yeah i'm not worried about deleting em, it's just they seem to keep coming back after a restart. And it's bugging me lol

Have you tried secure delete option?

Nice and simple :). I get those folders on my iBook sometimes too. It's usually a song or something they recorded that they sent me from months earlier. Very strange stuff.

I'd be very interested to hear if they come back though (they don't appear all the time anyway) because I don't understand how securely emptying the Trash would eliminate them from reoccurring.

yeah, im not sure either but it worked for me on a new intel imac and a mac mini
