If you have an original Iphone...
what does the new iphone give you besides 3G and GPS?

isn't every other feature pretty much in the 2.0 firmware?

so why pay $200 upfront, and then $10 more a month?
(if u need 3G, ignore this argument). I'm talking about casual browsers..
3G? GPS? louder speaker phone?? seriously??

never question an apple product no matter how unnecessary its "upgrades" may be for most people. people on this site don't like that

These are questions that have been answered numerous times over the last few months. I don't think today is the day to ask about that :)

hahaha good point haha

but hey i own enough apple products to question it once in a while :)

Especially when they have a whole site for demonstrating the features so you can make your own mind up...

I made a last minute decision to buy ... if my wife's phone hadn't died and needed one, I probably wouldn't have done it.

There's no burning reason to upgrade. 3G is nice. The phone feels lighter and smaller. GPS works fine. Otherwise, everything great about the new phone is a firmware upgrade away. I like the phone a lot, but it's a pretty minor improvement.

Why did you even make this thread? This has been discussed to death.

3G, for people in the 3G coverage area, is a HUGE upgrade that, in my opinion, is well worth the upgrade. You must never have used a 3G phone...
