Hello,

I am currently in a country where there is internet censorship.

I noticed that sometimes when I visited websites, at the bottom of the browser, I saw connection to something.twitter.com or something.facebook.com. Websites did not load successfully. Facebook and twitter are not allowed in this country.

Anybody knows what is going on? Why I visited other websites and the browser Firefox connected to facebook/twitter? Any way to solve this problem? Thanks

A lot of the new social networking sites link to twitter, Facebook and the like...Sulia is a big culprit and it's a site I use for.posting stuff about my cats....it was only yesterday that I noticed that all posts I make there are linked to my twitter account...if there isn't a way out, I'll stop using it.

If you use Safari then go the Safari's Extensions and get something like Ghostery and use that to stop those social button tracking.
