Why were all the reviews using the SS band?

Personally I think the review units were all kinda ugly...Ever since the unveiling I've though the 42" looked way too big and awkward. And the stainless steel link band is also kinda ugly, imo.

I would love to see a review video with a 38" space grey aluminum w/ black band. Has anybody seen one online?

I think it's very nice looking in that combination. I wonder if they'll offer that on the second generation that they're currently working on. Rumors are ready to be released on the 26th. I'll be a buyer if this phone makes the grade.

They...weren't? The Verge had a leather band, the "day in the life" lady had both a sports band and Milanese.
