Why won't my contacts on my ip4 transfer to my iMac when syncing?

When I add a contact to my ip4 and then sync with my iMac it never adds it to my address book. In fact it does the opposite...it takes it off my iphone because it wasn't already in my address book on my iMac. How do I get my newly added contacts on my ip4 to be added to my address book on my iMac when I sync the two? Thanks.

Go over the settings in your itune's app u need to set it to copy to both.

In itunes, click on your iPhone from the LHS menu.

Then click the "info" tab and you'll find the option where you can sync contacts

Yes on your imac and then follow Phayz info.
