Why won’t my iTunes library play on Apple TV ?

As per above.

Running latest iOS 11 on iPhone X & lates TvOS software on Apple TV 3 , or is 4 (the one lower than most recent - not 4K)

Anyway , go to my music library on Apple TV & select album to play. Just won’t play , no sound etc. Now with iOS 10 it would. Only way to play the music is to bring up on iPhone & stream to lounge TV. Now this is fine but I don’t want to do it like this.

I want to just select the album on my Apple TV music menu , select play or shuffle as prompted , & then just hear that music , as per iOS 10 , 9 , 8 etc.

What am I doing wrong , or what’s different now with iOS 11 ? Is there a setting now I’ve not switched on etc ?

Did you try playing anything from the computer app?

Also, check to make sure both your ATV and computer is signed into home sharing.

I signed out of Home Sharing & then back in again & it now works fine.
