So I've had this issue with the reminder app for iOS in that I can't reorder the items on the list. I love the simplicity of the app other than that, but this seemingly simple fix seems like a glaring omission.

Today, though, I noticed that in the reminders section of iCal on my mac, I can drag and drop items on the list into different places on the list. They seem to sit there for a split second, and then it says "Updating" at the title bar of the app, and suddenly it returns the item to the place it originally was on the list.

I've tried to turn off syncing, because I thought that might be the problem, but it didn't help- it still says "Updating" after I make any changes. Has anyone else had this problem, and/or found a solution?

Thanks

If you right click in the reminder pane, you have "sort by" options. One of them is by "title". Is that what you want?
