Why wont my torrents seed on mac but they will on my friends windows?

Whats up, im new to the whole torrent thing and its annoying me a lot. The torrents will completely upload but will not download and their will be 2000 seeds but not one of them will activate. What options do i have to fix this whole dilema?

Try to see if your port that you use for utorrent is forwarded in your router settings.

What torrent program are you using? It'll be helpful to give a little more info about your problem so people can give advice
