On my older versions of Quark I could draw a text box, divide it - for example - into three columns. I could then grab the centre right hand 'handle' and slide it across to exactly where the two column guides were. As I compressed the text box, the original three column guides stayed where they were, allowing me to accurately reduce the box to the width of two columns.
In Quark 8.1 when I do this, as I slide the box narrower, the column guides move as well. It's annoying - and time wasting. I hope I've explained the problem clearly! IS there a way to compress a multi-column text box WITHOUT the column guides within it moving?
Thanks
Jeremy
