Why wont Safari open in fullscreen in ML ??

If I close Safari in full screen mode it does not open again in full screen mode.

Lion did.

Cant find any options to keep Safari in full screen mode in preferences.

Anybody help google is not throwing up any solutions.

I had not yet tried that, so I gave it go upon seeing this thread.

No problems on my 27" i7 iMac.

Very strange, indeed. But alas, I have no constructive advice.
