What do you mean?
Well for instance I could say “Hey Siri, call Peggy” and use to it would say “Calling Peggy Stringer”. Now it just starts calling instead of saying “Calling Peggy Stringer”
This started happening after the last iOS update of 18.2 It does that for all my contacts.

Oh yes you’re right just tried it.

Personally I prefer it. But I do understand why some people wouldn’t. Whether it is a bug or intended behaviour I don’t know, but just for info, I am running 18.3 developer beta with this exact same “issue”.

Thanks for the info.

Try going to settings>Siri>Siri Responses and having “SPOKEN RESPONSES” set to “Prefer Spoken Responses”.
Hopefully this helps.

I'm assuming that Siri will still ask for clarification if one has Peggy Stringer and Peggy Roper in their contacts, right?
