Why would the iOS 4.0.1 update thread be moved from here?

I don't get this move. It seems this is exactly where most forum readers would expect iPhone updates to be found.

There have been a LOT of threads unnecessarily (and wrongly) moved from the main iPhone forum recently. The mods are getting a little out of control on this site.
