Hello

Wi-Fi Auto connect Settings sharing between devices

Is there any way to NOT share Wi-Fi settings between iPhone and iPad. For example, I would like to be able to connect my iPad work wifi but do not want my phone to connect to that network ever. As soon as I connect my iPad, my phone auto connects. If I forget the network on one device, all the others won't remember it. It is getting to be a real pain.

I have an IPhone 14 Pro. My issue is I do not want my IPhone to connect to my work Wi-Fi. However when I connect my IPad to my work Wi-Fi it automatically connects my iPhone. I have tried the following

Reset the network

Turn off auto join

Forget this network

I have had several chats with Apple support and no luck. I am looking to see if someone has had the same problem and found a solution.

In settings, click on your name, then "iCloud", then "Passwords and Keychain" and turn off "Sync this iPhone"

This should turn off password synchronization between your iPad and iPhone, including wifi passwords.

Be aware that this will stop the synching of all passwords, not just wifi passwords, between your devices.
