I have a Macbook that is having this continuing Wi-Fi problem. I own a fivespot (verizon wifi maker) that works fine with all my other apple devices except my macbook. I am able to connect with my iPhone and iPad every time but with my Macbook I get a "connection timeout". Here is the strange part it works at certain locations. When I am at my boat Marina where there is a Sheraton next to me with about 8 other networks around it stops working for my macbook but all my other devices don't have problems. When I get home or to the verizon store representative it works fine at those locations. I have also done a factory restore on my macbook and that didn't help. Before owning the fivespot I had the same problems with a Mi-Fi. Any ideas?

Summary: The Wi-fi timeout problem is only occurring in the boat location.

Don't know what a fivespot is, here is the product page
