Just wondering if anyone knows if the iPhone has limited bandwidth capabilities. I have a very basic wireless 802.11 B for my outdated laptop that doesn't have a wireless card to handle the newer signals. Since that's all I have needed for the last couple of years I haven't had the need to upgrade.

But now that I have the iphone it's a different story. I know the more popular bandwidths such as N or G have faster speeds. Normally I wouldn't care about such an upgrade, but I iPhone can't seem to hold a consistant B bandwidth signal. My phone reports a signal but I always get the "safari can't connect to the internet" enough that I have to keep trying to refresh the page. I reset the router and the modem, and still have the same problems.

I may decide to spend the $50 and buy a wireless N router, but wasn't sure if that was the right speed for the iPhone. I am assuming since the iPhone is cutting edge technology it would handle the most recent wireless technology. Any suggestions?
