I recently installed a Westell Model 7500 (Verizon DSL) Wireless router. My iPod touch can see that there is a wireless network, however; when attempting to connect, it displays that it cannot do so.

Does anyone have any idea why? Thanks.

Verizon wireless setup help :(

sorry, no help from me, I've got your problem too.

We just installed the 7500 as well. Works as it should as long as we're connected with ethernet cable.
When trying to get the airport card to connect we ran into trouble.
The problem seems to be the password security. We tried all the available options, Hex, ASCII...
When we disabled the password security, we were able to connect.

some details:
Mac Book Pro, 10.4.11.
Verizon DSL
All the settings were set via browser connected directly to the modem.

Do I have to set something up in the Mac network dialogs?

Any ideas ?

Thanks
