I had a problem after setting up my new iPhone 14 Pro Max. The Wi-Fi icon didn’t show on the screen even though it seemed to be operating. After some research, I found that the issue is related to old VPN profiles trying to connect.

The solution was simple:

Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > VPN

Delete the old VPN profiles. You’ll see that they’re trying to connect.
