I have a mid-2012 MBA.

I have a home network with a WPA2 password...I cannot get my MBA to connect to my home network via WiFi noting:

1. I have made no changes to my home network/router in months.

2. My MBA was previously able to connect this very same home network but can no longer do so (nb. this problem started to occur after upgrading to High Sierra). I have noticed no problems with any other devices connecting (i.e. iPhone, work computer, etc. all connect problem free). In addition, I confirm that there is no MAC filtering or other router setting that would preclude me form connecting.

3. My MBA can connect to every other wireless network I have tried (i.e. my home network is the only WiFi network my MBA cannot connect to).

4. To date I have tried -- deleting the network and reconnecting, resetting the PRAM, resetting the SMC -- all of which have failed.

I would appreciate any and all insight and help in remedying this.

TIA.

Well, I solved my own problem...it seems someone -- she who wont be mentioned -- did change things around such that the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi networks were using the same SSID and p/w...my MBA did NOT like this noting that as soon as I setup different SSIDs for the 2.4 GHz and the 5.0 GHz network all returned to normal...yahoo!
