Wi-fi not working ??

hej all members
i`ve an iphone 3gs , version 4.2.1 ( 8C148a) and modem firmaware 06.15.00
but when i go to settings>>Wi-Fi>> i connect to any wi fi and the signal is full but i can`t do anything with it e.g i can`t se the weather or to go to Safari ??

any help !

Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

Or maybe the wifi you're connected to the internet is down.
