I control what connects to my Wi-Fi, and unfortunately, my daughter's iPhone 14 Plus has taken to ONLY staying on our Wi-Fi when "Private Wi-Fi Address" is enabled in the Wi-Fi settings for that network.

I reset the Network Settings on the iPhone, reconnect to the Wi-Fi, and it all works fine. The default of course, is "Private Wi-Fi Address" enabled. When I disable that setting, in a few seconds, the Wi-Fi connection is dropped, and when I try to reconnect, the message is "Incorrect Password". If I enable "Private Wi-Fi Address," the connection is made again, and all works fine.

What the heck is going on? We have 4 iPhone 14s in the household, and the other 3 stay connected to the Wi-Fi even with "Private Wi-Fi Address" disabled... As do all of our iPads, MacBooks and Macs.

That is odd. It sounds like maybe the router has blocked her iPhone's MAC address, and using Private Wi-Fi Address was circumventing that. I would check your router configuration to see if maybe it's blocking it accidentally. Also, if you haven't tried doing a hard reset of her iPhone, try that also.

I reset security on my router and on my initial check the iPhone now connects to Wi-Fi without the “Private W-Fi Address” enabled.

Thanks for the suggestion…
