Hi,

There seems to be a strange Wi-Fi glitch with my iPhone 6 Plus, and I'm concerned it's a hardware issue.

If I download a large app (500mb+), or do any kind of large internet activity, then Wi-Fi will randomly disconnect and immediately reconnect, as if Wi-Fi is being turned on/off via control centre – only, it's not.

The only reason I can tell this is happening is because the Wi-Fi bars drop to 1, then it flickers '4G', then it goes straight back to 3 bars of Wi-Fi. This all happens within about half a second. It's really fast, but definitely concerning.

Have tried the usual - restore iOS, the phone is setup 'as a new iPhone', and I've reset network settings a number of times. It happens on a range of Wi-Fi networks, too. I'm well within my 14 day return window, so I can easily return it.

Any ideas, or is this a common issue?

Thanks for any help.

Andy

Edit: I'll try to get a video up later to better show it.
