Wi-Fi sync has stopped automatically starting when I plug my phone into charge.

The only way I can initiate a Wi-Fi sync is from iTunes manually.

I'm not sure if it's an iPhone 5 issue or an iOS 6 issue.

Anybody else having the same problem?

This has NEVER worked for me. Not on my iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1.1 and not on my iPhone 5 running iOS 6.

This has never worked for me either.
I tried for a long time to make it work, but eventually just gave up, turned it off, and went back to using the USB cable.

Do you have Do Not Disturb active? I have noticed that if you have DND active and you then plug your phone or ipad into charge, icloud backup does not work. I assume that wifi sync has the same issue. Sounds like bad coding somewhere in ios to me.

I've always had issues when syncing with wi-fi.

Still doesn't work when I plug the phone in the charge. It's deninately broken.
