Wi-Fi under Lion

Hi. Today off course installed Lion. Under SL I had on my loft like transmit rate 5. Now on Lion, on my desk Wi-Fi doesn't even 'see' my network. I can't browse the internet. On my iPad / iPhone everything works just perfect, same network. Very annoying. When I do have Wi-Fi the transmit rate always is 1. Just so slow! Anyone a solution or the same problem?

I had similar issues where the wi-fi would drop constantly here in the office. I also noticed my transmit rate was really low even thought the nearest airport is about 20 feet away. Console showed:

airportd: _doAutoJoin: Already associated to “Airport (5 GHz)”. Bailing on auto-join.
kernel: AirPort: Link Down on en1. Reason 4 (Disassociated due to inactivity).

I changed the channels in the airport extreme from auto to manual settings and I'm using 1 for 2.4ghz and 149 for 5ghz... no issues so far after that change.
