Hi all,

Recently I've been having problems with a USB flash drive. Every time I connect it to my macbook, suddenly the internet stops working - no connection, can't update, can't open websites. When I disconnect it everything goes back to normal.
I have the problem with only this particular flash drive - I have external HDDs that I have connected all the time and had no problems.
Do you think it's a faulty USB flash drive or it's nonetheless a macbook problem?

Thanks for the help

It's the 2014 MBA so they're both USB 3.0 - and it's the only usb drive that creates this problem.

I don't have this problem with any of my flash drives. Rule out the MacBook by trying a different drive, but I suspect something is wrong with the drive you're using.
