Yeah - I'd definitely be careful with that - one wrong point and the FBI is at your door. As much as I love this kind of stuff, in this day and age, it's just not worth the risk.

Those are pretty cool - you could use one to make a pretty powerful optical data link.

But yeah, playing with one of those at night in a populated area almost guarantees a visit from the police.
