is it possible to change a video i have which is not wide screen into wide screen. so it looks better in front row....like right now it'z basically a square shaped with black bars on side ,,, can i make it wide screen somehow??

So basically you want everything to look stretched out and distorted? Everyone looking squat an wide? Or are you looking to zoom it somehow to put the sides all the way to the edge, but then cut the top and bottom off?

Either way, don't think you can do this with frontrow, but try what marioman said above and use VLC. There are several aspect-ratio menu items you can try.
 
That is plain impossible. To remove the bars on the side, you could squish the video, but that would make everything look fat and distorted, or you could trim off the top and the bottom of the image. Either way, you would end up with a weird looking video.
