I want to upgrade my WFH set up. For personal use, I use an 2013 27" iMac and a Macbook, both of these are pretty old and could use a refresh. For work, I use a Dell XPS laptop.

Currently, I use Citrix from my iMac to remote in to my work laptop. It works OK, but some issues with Skype and Zoom when using Citrix.

What I'm thinking of doing is upgrading to a Macbook Air M2 and then connecting both the M2 and the Dell to a LG 34WN80C-B UltraWide Monitor 34".

I should be able to view both laptops on the display at the same time. I assume I would need some sort of KVM for the keyboard mouse. Does this sound like a good upgrade solution? Will the M2 work ok with this monitor?

I'm not a gamer and just use mostly web based apps (RTC, Alliance) and Office suite of apps, plus Zoom and Skype.

Thanks

To view both input sources at the same time, you would need a monitor that supports PbP. This Dell also includes a KVM.
