Widescreen turn into 4:3?

Hi, I currently have a macBook Pro with a 22" widescreen Smasung monitor. Is there anyway to make it so the computer "cuts off the sides" so it can make 4:3 ratio without stretching anything? I want to play an old game from 1999 on Windows XP that doesn't look good on widescreen. thanks.

In System Prefs -> Displays, is there a non '(stretched)' option on your 2nd screen? Choose one of the 4:3 ones like 1024x768, 800x600...etc.

There is not a non-stretched version for resolution.
