Widgets, Any Recomendations?

I know must aren't into widgets on here, but any recommendations on things everyone should have, Yes I've googled it and most of lists were pretty old.
The only one outside the included ones im running are IStat and Wiki. So what are you running.

I think widgets is one of those areas where apple put into OSX but really had no idea what to do with. Perhaps they thought it was a cool idea, or something when they stole it from Konfabulator. Since the addition of widgets they've really not done anything to leverage it to extend the OS very much.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them eventually get removed from the OS.

My point (if there is a point to my rambling ) is that the widget market after starting up strong has slowly withered on the vine. Developers have long since shifted over to iOS where they can make some profits.

Yeah, i totally agree, they have this whole button mapped for it, think they would try to do a bit more with it. I wish there was more, but it is what it is.

What are your likes? Dislikes? Hopes, desires, and dreams?

Do you like sports? Unicorns? Contra dancing?

I'm sure there are widgets for all of those, and more.
