I'm relatively new to this forum (love it) and only a recent convert from PCs, but I was wondering if it would be worth having a forum for Widgets?

I think at the moment it's mostly covered already under the OS X subforum.

People still use widgets?
I sure do, although I don't think a separate forum is required for them. I use iStat Pro as well as widgets for iTunes lyrics, calendar, weather, unit conversion and stickies. It's very handy to access these with a simple move of the mouse.

I would say widgets fall under Mac applications so feel free to use that forum for any widget related discussion.
