So I'm running Lion and on one restart a few weeks ago I noticed my dashboard was empty. I simply reactivated the widgets I had on there, however I had the stickies widget open and with to-do info on there and would like to recover it. I have time machine backups for the past 8 months or so; dating back to Snow Leopard obviously and it seems that peeking back through, the hierarchy so-to-speak has changed slightly.... point is though, how can I restore dashboard to the way it was or at least the stickies widget?

I don't think it happened when I upgraded to Lion, but rather a week or so into using Lion.

Bump... Anybody know how to restore a widget from time machine?

EDIT: Found the file in Time Machine....
