The problem is all the widgets became smaller(narrower) in IOS14.
They wanted the old widgets to match the width of the new widgets which can be placed on the icon screens.
On the screen with all the widgets everything is narrowed with much empty space left and right.
Weather apps now display 4 days instead of 5 etc. etc.
It looks ugly.
