Hi guys, I just got a new MacBook and I was wondering if I can customize my desktop with the widgets that I can find below notifications ? Currently my desktop is just full empty and I think it would be cool to add some stock market widgets, weather etc. I can add them below notification list but I don't have an idea how to add them on desktop can you please help me ?

I have the same question - anyone know the answer? All that I could find online referenced Dashboards and enabling DEV mode for Mission Control which did not seem to do anything on Ventura.

I would like to have widgets on my desktop and not have to rely on going to the Notification Center to see the info I would like to have more visible.

Am I missing something or has Apple simply deprecated the ability to have widgets persist on the desktop even in developer mode?

Not sure if this is what you looking for, but try Übersicht.

Click on the 'Get Widgets' to see all available.

Although it requires editing the .coffee file for desktop placement and specific city weather options.

Hologram is nice. It has many pre-configured widgets, or you can build your own collection. The basics are free, with more "themes" and widgets available for a subscription.
