Widgets On Desktop

Hi,

I few months ago I was messing around with my girlfriends iBook and I found out how to put Widgets onto the desktop. One slight problem, how do you remove them? She is a little bit cross and I need to get it off

The calculator widget from Dashboard

oh, active the dashboard, click the "+" at the left bottom, then click the "X" at the top-left corner of any widget u want to remove.

You can also uncheck the widget in the Manage Widgets window to disable it.

I managed to remove the Widget using Widget Manager. If a Widget is taken out of Dashboard and placed on the Desktop you dont get the little X as with the Widgets in Dashboard.
